I don't want expensive, I want smart.
I don't want regular - I want spaces with a little bit
of my favorite things.
And that's you.
And then I want a house that
makes life better-
not by being bigger than we are, but by
holding the things that we cherish.
Us,
Light,
Love.

I think this these words will be our theme for the next year.
I have enjoyed and valued written messages from your mother most of my life, and I am so happy to see you have your mother's gift of being able to express your thoughts and feelings in a way that brings a tear to my eye. I look forward to being able to follow your journey at this exciting time in both of your lives! Here's to you both, to Light, to Love.
ReplyDeleteIt's not fair for you to make me cry first thing in the morning! May you always feel the joy you do at this special time in your life.
ReplyDelete(I'll comment on the misplaced apostrophe later! That's not what made me cry.)

ReplyDeleteFollowing your blog about the special man in your life building a house which you will both make into a home brings tears of happiness to my eyes remembering when my special man and I did exactly the same. The joy of that time will be with me always and I follow your progress with much love.
